The crucial point of our time, for which it is necessary to entrust oneself to Mary Help of Christians, is to overcome that gap between faith and life which insensibly but inexorably leads to making faith superfluous, evangelization optional, the call to conversion inappropriate, empty the education. Mary Help of Christians will undoubtedly help us to convince ourselves and to be convincing in announcing that only Jesus is Lord (Acts 2:36), that there is no salvation except in Him (Acts 4:12), that without Him we can do nothing (Jn 15: 5), that faith is nothing other than life but life itself as the Lord lived it (GC 26,24). Mary Help of Christians will not fail to help us in the delicate task of honoring the Salesian charism and in this way contributing to the good of the whole Church, showing us how to proclaim the Gospel from an educational perspective and how to educate from an evangelical perspective (GC 26,25).
