Never lose heart! Look to Don Bosco, to his life, to his total dedication to souls! Read his writings; listen to his teaching, which is still valid today; pray to him with insistence and devotion, so that his “spirit” may always be alive and present in you and in your activities (...). The supernatural vision of existence is Don Bosco's radical teaching and is the only way to truly build on rock! (...) He conceived and did everything under Mary's guidance and enveloped by her maternal and often visible protection! In 1862, he confided to Don Cagliero: ‘Our Lady wants us to honour her under the title of Mary Help of Christians: times are so sad that we really need the Virgin to help us preserve the Christian faith.’ These are grave and serious words that we can repeat even today, consolidating more and more our love and trust in Mary Help of Christians. Trust in Mary! Entrust all your activities and concerns to her maternal care every day!
