ADMA at CASERTA

"In 1869, Don Bosco had a beautiful picture of the Immaculate Heart of Mary painted. The face of the Mother and that of the Son are strikingly similar. That painting arrived in Caserta, destined for the Shrine that Don Rua had erected in honour of the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Since as far back as 1897, this Marian centre has attracted the faithful, and Salesian educational institutions, especially the Lyceum and the Oratory, have trained thousands and thousands of young people. The group of the Association of Mary Help of Christians joyfully participated. On 8th June 2024, after adequate preparation, seventeen associates made their pledge and subsequently elected the council. There is a great desire to pray to Mary Most Holy, spread her devotion and contribute to the exercise of the Salesian mission'.

The promise was made on 8th June, the day of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, to which our Shrine is dedicated, which houses the picture painted by Don Bosco and sent by Don Rua.
