ADMA started in LORETO

On the 31st May 2024 in the Salesian House "Our Lady of Loreto", the solemn celebration began to welcome the newly constituted ADMA group (Association of Mary Help of Christians) with the song "Here I am", erected by Decree on the 20th May 2024 by the Provincial of the Salesian Circumscription of Central Italy, Fr. Stefano Aspettati.

Together with the Rector of the Community of Civitanova, the ADMA group from Civitanova, the Past Pupils and Friends of Don Bosco from Loreto and numerous faithful took part in this celebration, with joy and jubilation, welcoming the 12 Aspirants of the Association of Mary Help of Christians to proclaim their commitment to continue Don Bosco's dream.

The Aspirants began their journey of formation in August 2023. With passion and dedication, they were accompanied towards the maturation of a choice that through the Immaculate Heart of Mary leads to the Sacred Heart of Jesus. In this journey, they were also guided by the Turin-Valdocco Primary ADMA and by the Provincial Delegate for the Salesian Family Fr. Gian Luigi Pussino.

At the end of the celebration, animated by the Community choir, the 12 members of the Group were given the Regulations, badge and scarf. The evening ended with a joyful moment together and a singing tribute dedicated to Mary to celebrate together this gift, which is for everyone. This is what the President of the ADMA group of Loreto, Angela Papa, said, moved and grateful: "What excited us the most, when our Rector proposed to us to join ADMA, was the aim and the charisma of this Association, that is, to honour and spread the devotion to Our Lady Help of Christians and to Jesus Eucharist, who are the pillars of the Church, as in Don Bosco's dream. And then, I took a step that made me realise the importance of the Association of Mary Help of Christians precisely in Loreto, my city, where in fact, the House of the Holy Family of Nazareth is kept. It is precisely in the Holy House that Mary was born and lived and welcomed the Angel and adhered with her YES to God's plan, and also in the Holy House, Jesus became incarnate. Therefore, I think that the ADMA is an added value for our Marian City. We hope to grow in faith through prayer and apostolate, with the help of Jesus and Mary".

The newly formed group of the ADMA of Loreto commits itself to live and spread the devotion to Mary Help of Christians and the adoration to Eucharistic Jesus, in particular through the commemoration of the 24th of each month, the rosary, the novena to Mary Help of Christians, the frequent celebration and adoration of the Eucharist, pilgrimages and the collaboration in the life of the Community, having as its primary goal its own sanctification and the salvation of the young people.
