PERU – OFFICIAL PRESENTATION OF THE RECTOR MAJOR’S 2026 STRENNA TO THE SALESIAN FAMILY

Lima, March. “We are all here, bearers of the Salesian DNA,” said Fr. Juan Pablo Alcas, Superior of the Salesian Province of Peru, addressing the Salesian Family gathered in the auditorium of the Salesian School San Francisco de Sales for the official presentation of the Rector Major, Fr. Fabio Attard’s 2026 Strenna: “Do whatever he tells you. Believers free to serve.”
Present were various groups of the Salesian Family in the country: Past Pupils, Salesian Cooperators, ADMA, Volunteers with Don Bosco, With Don Bosco, Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, Salesian Oblate Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Salesians of Don Bosco, the Association Damas Salesianas, among others.
After Fr. Juan Pablo Alcas welcomed everyone, the gathering continued with the projection of the official video of the 2026 Strenna on a large screen. At the end, the Provincial invited the various groups of the Salesian Family to renew their faith, to open doors and hearts, and to serve young people with joy and authenticity.
After a period of group reflection, a representative from each team shared, together with Fr. Alcas, the main conclusions and contributions that emerged from the questions and themes addressed.
